Seven days on from their hammering at Oxford, the Curtis Sport Brummies clearly arrived in the Steel City with some belief gained from Monday’s home win over King’s Lynn.
Captain Tobiasz Musielak led the way against his former club scoring 14+1 from six rides, but Hagon followed in behind him in the scorecharts having enjoyed his best ever night at the top level with a total of 8+1 courtesy of scoring in each of his rides.
Jonas Jeppesen and Matej Zagar both finished with 7+1 whilst Ben Barker and Paco Castagna both endured tougher nights a week on after being the standout performers at Oxford.
Said Hagon: “Running R/R is difficult and having .
(Rew) would’ve been a lot better.
“A couple of the boys, Paco and Ben, didn’t do great but Ben did hit the fence quite hard.
“Sheffield’s a bit like Belle Vue, it’s a hard place to go to - but we did better away against them than we did at home recently.
“Ten down at Sheffield’s not too bad considering they’ve still got (Josh) Pickering and (Chris) Holder who do go very well around here.”
The Brummies head to Belle Vue on Monday (July 7, 7.30pm) - a date where there is also action at Perry Barr as the Ductair Bulls take on Kent in the National Development Trophy
