PREVIEW: BULLS v KING’S LYNN (NDT)

Sunday April 13, 2025
BIRMINGHAM will be looking to make it two wins from two when they host King’s Lynn Young Stars in the National Development Trophy on Monday (April 14, 7.30pm).

The Ductair Bulls got off to a hugely positive start at the end of last month when they beat Leicester 51-38.

And after all seven riders showed some encouraging early signs, team manager Laurence Rogers is hopeful of seeing further signs of progression in what he expects to be an entertaining night of racing.

“They have some rising talent in their ranks and it should be a good battle for the points,” Rogers said.

“Our side has strength in depth and that is what hopefully stands them in good stead to challenge for honours.

“But winning the NDT is not our primary aim. It is to give these lads track time and see them progress to bigger and better things.

“Hopefully more fans will be there to cheer on the Bulls as the response on social media to those present was all positive.”

There will also be nine second half races including a six heat Midland Development League contest between the Bulls and the Supporters Club Buffaloes.

Admission prices have been set at £15 adults and £13 concessions whilst all children aged 16 and under will get in for FREE.

In addition, any 2025 Birmingham Brummies Season Ticket holders can watch Bulls’ meetings at a reduced price of just £10 upon production of their season ticket at the main doors.

BIRMINGHAM: Tom Spencer, Arran Butcher, Sam McGurk, Darryl Ritchings, Max James, Senna Summers, Eli Meadows.
KING’S LYNN: Jody Scott, Harrison Rogers, Ashton Vale, Max Perry, Luke Harrison, Calum Mitchell, Cooper Rushen.
