| |  | POPULAR Italian Paco Castagna will return to Birmingham colours for one night only later (Monday, 7.30pm) when champions Sheffield visit Perry Barr.
He guests at No.6 in place of Piotr Pawlicki who has dislocated bones in his left hand.
Pawlicki crashed in Sweden last week but rode through the pain barrier to finish on the rostrum in Saturday’s Speedway European Championship before racing in Poland on Sunday.
But with the pain and the swelling increasing, he has now been signed out by doctors and will receive treatment back home in Poland today.
The club wish Piotr a speedy recovery and thank Paco for stepping in at short notice.
