The PARRY's INTERNATIONAL Wolf Cubs inflicted the first defeat of the 2022 MSDL season to the reigning champions Birmingham DUCTAIR Bulls at Monmore Green with a 24-12 victory.
The Wolf cubs had two unbeaten riders in Sam Woolley and 15 year old Luke Harrison whilst Luke Killeen was only defeated by Bulls top scorer Freddy Hodder in the final heat.
The strong Killeen / Harrison pairing took 5-1 heat wins in heats 2 and 4 with Woolley and Harrison added another maximum heat score in the 5th race.
The Bulls ended with their first heat points success 4-2 in the final race through Hodder and Bailey Fellows.
The win puts the two clubs equal on 4 points each with the Bulls retaining top spot on a superior points difference. The Wolf Cubs can leapfrog into top position next Monday when they face Sittingbourne at Monmore Green .
