The Birmingham DUCTAIR Bulls continued their quest to win the MSDL for the third successive time with a convincing 23-12 win over local rivals Wolverhampton PARRYS INTERNATIONAL Wolf Cubs at Perry Barr.
There were some superb races throughout the six heats with the heat 4 wheel to wheel clash between Bulls Freddy Hodder and 15 year old debutant Luke Harrison being a classic. Harrison took the win with a change of line and inside manoeuvre on the final lap on bend 3 that any seasoned pro would have been proud of.
Harrison's maximum hopes though were dashed by the Bulls No. 1 Arran Butcher in heat 5 with the home man gaining revenge for losing out to the 15 year old in heat 1.
There was solid scoring throughout the DUCTAIR Bulls side with the Fellows cousins Bailey and Jacob backing up Butcher and Hodder to ensure the league points were theirs.
The two sides meet again next Monday June 27th at Monmore Green.
