| | BIRMINGHAM will have British Champion Adam Ellis in their side when they face Coventry at Perry Barr on Wednesday.
And he'll be joined by both Josh Auty and Claus Vissing after all three were absent from Monday's 56-34 defeat at Wolverhampton.
Ellis was finally given the green light to join the Brummies just minutes before their press and practice session last week but was already unavailable for the early fixtures.
Now he will be ready to herald a new era for the club against the Bees who are currently on the sidelines as the fight for a return to their traditional Brandon home continues.
"I'm really pleased to see Birmingham back for the new season," said Ellis.
"It's been a bit frantic getting everything ready because of the way things developed over the last few days but I'm looking forward to getting started."
The Curtis Sport Brummies were badly depleted in the Monday night defeat at neighbours Wolves with stag guest Richard Lawson riding superbly for his 15-point haul.
New skipper Ashley Morris also impressed at his former home track with 10-points after his encouraging display at Leicester on Saturday.
WOLVERHAMPTON 56: Sam Masters 11, Steve Worrall 10+1, Nick Morris 9+1, Ryan Douglas 8+1, Leon Flint 7+2, Drew Kemp 7, Luke Becker 3+1, Joe Thompson (no.8) 1.
