BRITISH duo Chris Harris and Ashley Morris will ride for Birmingham again in 2021.

Former Grand Prix star Harris is back with the Brummies, having being a part of the table-topping Elite League side of 2013.

Meanwhile Morris will be another popular starter at Perry Barr having produced a number of eye-catching performances prior to his 2019 campaign being cut short through injury.

Along with Paco Castagna and Jack Thomas, it means the Brummies now have more than half of their side confirmed and team boss Laurence Rogers is expecting a big year from both Harris and Morris.

“They’re two very talented Speedway riders, they’re two great characters to have around the team and I expect both of them to have a very strong season,” Rogers said.

“Bomber rediscovered his love for racing during lockdown by realising how much he misses it when it’s not there and that can only be a good thing surely for when it comes to racing for Birmingham can’t it?

“As for Ash he is just very keen to get back to it after missing such a big chunk of the 2019 season through injury.

“Just before he got injured he was scoring double figure points for us on a regular basis and was showing everyone his heatleader potential, particularly at Perry Barr.”
