BIG NIGHT AHEAD AT PERRY BARR

Tuesday July 23, 2019
BIRMINGHAM are looking forward to another big night of Speedway when they take on Somerset at Perry Barr on Wednesday (6.15 gates open, 7.30 first race).

The Edwards Plumbing Brummies launch their 'Summer Holiday' Programme with special admission offers.
Ahead of the forthcoming football campaign, season ticket holders of Aston Villa, Birmingham City, West Bromwich Albion, Walsall, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Solihull Moors will gain entry for just £10 admission upon production of their 2018/19 or 2019/20 season ticket.
It’s also FREE admission for all children aged 11 and under and there’s plenty to keep the little ones entertained as well.
There is a special Paw Patrol Party from 6.15 with Chase and Skye from the popular TV programme along with face painting, party games and prizes, plus free party bags for all children who attend.
There’s also an opportunity to Meet the Riders with the team pits open to all between 6.30 and 6.50 whilst returning Brummie Tero Aarnio will be available for autographs and pictures in the lower grandstand bar between 6.40 and 6.50.
Supporters will again be able to take advantage of the Perry Barr Centre Green Experience. Up to 25 supporters will have the chance to watch three races from the infield.
Tickets to watch Heats 12-14 will be on sale upon entry to the stadium for just £3 per person and will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
Brummies have been boosted by the return of Finnish International Tero Aarnio for the clash against the Rebels and there are also debuts for former British Under-19 Champion Jason Garrity and new reserve David Wallinger.
Team boss Laurence Rogers said: “It’s been a tough month for the team with all the injuries we’ve had but we battle on.
“Of course we want to get back to winning ways and doing so on Wednesday would be ideal with a really busy August upcoming.
“We’ve booked Steve Worrall to come in at No.1 for this one and it’s going to be great to have Tero back in our colours too.
“Mix that with two more debuts plus the fact Somerset have got a very attractive team on paper and I think we’re all in for a treat on Wednesday night.
“We’ve got a special offer on for local football fans and we’ve got loads going on for the kids as well with our first home meeting of the summer holidays so spread the word and let’s get another healthy crowd in to get right behind the boys.”
The main event will be followed by the Birmingham Ductair Electrics Bulls against the Exeter Falcons in the Midland Southern Development League.
